"One man in each century is given the power to control time.
The man chosen to receive this power is carefully selected.
He must be kind. He must be fair. He must be brave.
You have fulfilled these requirements;
and, we of the Outer Galaxies designate to you
the wisdom of Solomon and the strength of Atlas.
YOU are CAPTAIN 11!"

i was a guest on Capt 11 show a few times but I remember one time particulaly well I was being a pest running back and forth during his wonder bread commercial and Dave stopped me and put the loaf of bread on my head and said if i could walk frome one side of the stage to the other without it falling i could have it. Well i made it he gave me the bread and trust me my family needed it. I am a truck driver now and was out in Colorado a couple years ago and listening to XM radio talk show and a fella came on who reminised about capt 11 and he actualy sang the song from the show i was impressed

Our childhood hero Dave Dedrick just passed away. Thanks Captain for showing us the path and guiding us into the future.

I just re-watched the 50th anniversary special DVD that I bought from KELO. He was a hell of a guy and we're poorer for losing him.
