After Sioux Falls Hospital and Bethany Hospital associations merged in 1925, they became Sioux Valley Hospital. This building was built in 1930 and the original Sioux Falls Hospital building was moved nearby to be used as a nurses dormatory.

I'll likely always call this hospital Sioux Valley rather than it's new name Sanford™... Unless they'd like to provide funding for Greetings From Sioux Falls, in which case I would welcome the Sanford™ name and obnoxious sponsorship banners all over this site. I'm not a whore yet, but I'm-a-standin' on the corner sayin'; "Hey sugar, need a date?"
