Local grocery wholesalers Kuehn and the Jewett brothers convinced Luverne, MN Biscuit magnate L.D. Manchester to move his operation here in 1902. From 1902 to 1960 the Manchester Biscuit Co. cranked out flaky biscuits and snappy crackers. In 1960, operations ceased and in '61 Raven Industries moved into their building. Below is the Manchester Biscuit Co. building after the addition of a floor. They kept building on until they had the building pictured on the next card.
